As an intangible cultural heritage of east China's Jiangxi Province, Xiabu embroidery offers a juxtaposition of the natural textures of the ramie plant with the charming style of ink paintings. During a special program by China Media Group celebrating the Qixi Festival, which is often described as Chinese Valentine's Day, dancers portraying the weavers showed the process of making Xiabu embroidery through their performance, expressing the weavers' expectations and longing for a good life.
