The world pays for Japan's selfishness

Japan said it would start releasing more than 1 million metric tonnes of nuclear-contaminated water from the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant into the sea on August 24. In disregard of the anger and opposition from its local people and neighboring countries, Japan's obstinate and selfish decision will be disastrous for the ocean ecosystem and make the world pay a heavy price.
