Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday made a speech titled "Seeking Development Through Solidarity and Cooperation and Shouldering Our Responsibility for Peace" at the 15th BRICS summit, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

He noted that BRICS is an important force in shaping the international landscape and called on BRICS countries to deepen cooperation as well as improve global governance amid a turbulent world.
