The Trans-European Motorway segment in Čapljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is being built by China State Construction. This project will extend and connect cities in southern and eastern Europe. In an exclusive interview with CGTN's Xinchen-Gerald Xu, the mayor of Čapljina emphasized that robust transportation infrastructure is essential for boosting economic competitiveness. He added that the Belt and Road Initiative not only promotes economic integration among the countries along its route but also enhances social connections between nations.
