Expert: BRICS currencies will help reduce dependence on U.S. dollar, but acceptance will take time

In CGTN's special program on the BRICS Summit co-produced with Brazil's BAND Group, BAND's presenter and journalist Eduardo Castro spoke with José Ricardo dos Santos Luz Junior, co-chairman and CEO of LIDE China, and BAND's editor of international affairs Edgar Maciel, on their thoughts on currency cooperation among BRICS countries. José Ricardo said the "R5" currencies are an attractive alternative to reduce dependence on the U.S. dollar.
