The 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park in Beijing from September 2 to 6. The former steel production zone was revamped to create a contemporary park for tourism, sport and cultural events. Smokestacks, blast furnaces and other remnants of the old factories and warehouses have been transformed into commercial buildings, modern offices and other supporting facilities, creating chic and people-friendly spaces.
