China has remained Africa's largest trading partner over the past decade. Official data shows that trade between Africa and China rose by 7.4 percent from the previous year to more than one trillion yuan, which is over 158 billion U.S. dollars, from January to July this year. Experts say BRICS' push for greater cooperation in the Global South will contribute to Africa's development.
