Losing a paw is a disaster for species like elephants, as they roam great distances to find enough food and water. For the Asian elephants living in Jiangcheng Hani and Yi Autonomous County in southwest China's Yunnan Province, the young elephants with paw loss might become a burden during travels. However, its family members never treat it as an annoying nuisance. They always remember to change their formation and keep the little ones in the middle to avoid them falling behind.
