Experts have deemed Japan's release of nuclear-contaminated water into the ocean an exceedingly irresponsible behavior and a gross breach of international law.

Japan began releasing nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean on Thursday, disregarding public concerns and facing strong opposition both domestically and internationally.
