Construction of a photovoltaic power station to further improve the power mix and boost power supply in Sichuan Province has begun. The Zhala Mountain photovoltaic power station is at an altitude of between 3,200 meters and 4,200 meters. The installed capacity of the power station is 1.17 million kilowatts, with an annual average generating capacity of 2.15 billion kilowatt hours. The power station is a key project of Sichuan Province's renewable energy development program during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) and a one-million-kilowatt photovoltaic power station of the Yalong River clean energy base, one of the nine clean energy bases in China.
