Championed as a voice for the Global South, the BRICS grouping of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa aims to promote an alternative to a world order that's been traditionally centered around Western powers. The bloc will soon host its 15th annual summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, where many topics like BRICS expansion, the Russia-Ukraine conflict and group financial cooperation will be on the table. Guests in this special program "BRICS: Rising South with Stronger Voice" are José Ricardo Júnior, CEO of LIDE China, and researcher at BRICS Study Group of the University of São Paulo; Andrey Kortunov, academic director of the Russian International Affairs Council; Atul Dalakoti, founder of the BRICS Centre for Economic Cultural Research & Services; Prof. Huang Jing from Shanghai International Studies University; and Prof. Paul Zilungisele Tembe from the University of South Africa.
