A cargo ship's hold and engine took on water due to strong winds, causing it to run aground on Monday near Lianyungang City, east China's Jiangsu Province. The ship's lifeboat would not be released, and the crew became trapped. An East China Sea Rescue Bureau helicopter was immediately dispatched to rescue the ship's occupants.
