Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) invited reporters from seven media organizations on August 27 to visit the nuclear-contaminated wastewater treatment facilities at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. During the interview with CMG reporter He Xinlei, TEPCO employees admitted that they had not considered any alternatives other than discharging nuclear-contaminated wastewater into the sea.
