The cumulative gas production of Changqing oilfield, China's largest oil and gas field, has exceeded over 600 billion cubic meters, setting a new record for output in China's domestic oil and gas fields. As the first oil and gas field in the country with gas output totaling 600 billion cubic meters, Changqing oilfield plays an important role in optimizing energy structure and improving ecological environment. Changqing oilfield produced over 65 million tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE) of crude oil and natural gas in 2022,  and put 2,210 oil wells and 2,338 gas wells into operation throughout the year.
