Compared to traditional exhibitions, this show uses the latest digital technology to recreate vivid underwater scenery to offer visitors the chance to explore the deep sea - adding a whole new dimension to the idea of an "immersive experience." Large "whales" can be spotted swimming past visitors who are eager to take photos and interact with these virtual marine creatures through AI and 3D projection technology.

Various whale specimens are on display, offering people an insight into the lives of these giant sea creatures. What's more, the exhibition not only offers fascinating settings but also educational lectures. People can learn more about the ecological environment, and the behavioral characteristics of whales and gain other knowledge by watching videos and interacting with the installations. Using advanced technology, visitors can experience the process of catching marine life and take part in a roleplaying game.

Located in a growing new area of Tianjin, the museum covers an area of 15 hectares and features 15 exhibition halls, museum shops, restaurants, cafes, and cinemas. The museum houses large collections of specimens and cultural marine relics and has a rich source of information relating to oceanography, marine life, and humanity, to present marine civilization and promote environmental protection.
