Gabon's incumbent president, Ali Bongo, was re-elected for a third presidential term in Saturday's election with 64.27 percent of votes cast, the national electoral authority said Wednesday.
Bongo's main challenger, Albert Ondo Ossa, had come in second place with 30.77 percent of votes, Gabonese Election Center head Michel Stephane Bonda said.
