More than 20,000 hectares (50,000 acres) of chili peppers planted in the Qiaocheng District of Bozhou City, east China’s Anhui Province, have entered peak harvest season. Local farmers seized the opportunity presented by the sunny, dry weather and immersed themselves in the task of harvesting the chili peppers.
With great care, they plucked the vibrant peppers, which not only represent the fruits of their labor, but also serve as treasures of the season. Armed with hoes, baskets and bags, the farmers methodically carried out the harvest, ensuring both the quality and yield of their agricultural produce.
