Esports will make its debut as a medal event at the upcoming 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, in September. China is the largest esports market in the world, with revenue reaching 144.5 billion yuan (almost $20 billion) in 2022, an increase of nearly 70 billion yuan over 2017.
