Fukushima prefecture, the place most severely affected by the tsunami and nuclear contamination, is home to thousands of fishermen. They are torn between the hope of their livelihood being revitalized and fear of the consequences of the ocean discharge plan. Haruo Ono is 71 years old this year, and he first went to sea at the age of 15. The earthquake changed his life, and now he's deeply worried by the plan to discharge the contaminated wastewater into the sea.
