China will adopt reciprocal visa restrictions on the U.S. officials who have smeared China and interfered in Xizang-related issues over a long period of time, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Thursday.
China firmly opposes and will never accept the U.S. issuing illegal visa restrictions on Chinese officials based on "concocted lies" over Xizang, which has seriously interfered in China's internal affairs, gravely harmed China's interests, and severely violated the basic norms of international relations, the spokesperson added.
