Norwegian govt closes embassy in Mali

The Norwegian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that its embassy in Mali will be closed.
The government has decided that the Norwegian embassy in Bamako will be closed by the end of 2023 after the UN Security Council decided on June 30 that the UN operation MINUSMA in Mali should end by the end of the year.
