New energy vehicles (NEVs) produced by a Chinese company were exported to Myanmar through Wanding Port for the first time on August 30, with the vehicles speeding through the process thanks to improved customs clearance protocols at the border. After being inspected by immigration, 50 trailers carrying Chinese-made NEVs were swiftly waved through. Since the beginning of this year, 107,000 inbound and outbound personnel as well as 1.21 million tonnes of goods imported into and exported from China have been inspected at the port in Yunnan Province.
