Hurricane Idalia left residents trying to find places to live as they rebuild their homes. They may have to wait weeks for electricity to be restored. The hurricane left a trail of damage in the north-central Florida region where it made landfall on August 30. More than 100,000 homes and businesses in Florida and Georgia remained without power on September 1.
