The 11th committee of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ACFROC) on Saturday held its first plenary session in Beijing, with the federation's new leadership elected.
Wan Lijun was elected chairman of the 11th committee of the ACFROC. Eighteen vice-chairpersons, a secretary-general and 166 standing committee members of the 11th ACFROC committee were also elected.
Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the ACFROC consists of returned overseas Chinese and their relatives. It serves as a bridge for the CPC and the Chinese government to connect the returned overseas Chinese, their relatives and overseas Chinese.
