With thousands of years of history, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been widely practiced both in China and abroad.

TCM has been one of the most popular areas of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), with more than 10,000 daily visitors last year.

A TCM consumption festival is being held during the five-day CIFTIS at Beijing's Shougang Park. Consisting of both indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, the festival demonstrates traditional and new applications of TCM, including medicinal materials, health preservation, intelligent TCM and cosmetic TCM.
