78 injured as Typhoon Haikui batters China's Taiwan

At least 78 people have been reported injured so far in China's Taiwan as Typhoon Haikui batters the island, the local authorities said on Monday, adding that over 1,400 typhoon-related accidents have been registered.
The 11th typhoon since the start of the season, Haikui is the first major storm to directly hit Taiwan in four years, according to reports.
