Northwest China's Gansu Province, where Dunhuang is located, saw 196 million passenger trips from January to July this year. By August 13, Dunhuang's six most famous attractions, including the Mogao Grottoes and the Echoing Sand Mountains, saw over 4.5 million visits, up 29.39 percent from 2019.
