Ali Ahmed has been the caretaker of the Gilgit Chinese Memorial Cemetery in Pakistan for 45 years. The cemetery is the resting place for Chinese workers who died during the building of the Karakoram Highway through the 1960s and 1970s. Sitting under the trees he planted himself, Ahmed shares with us a poem he wrote.
