00:39

A storm has left tens of thousands of people stranded for days at the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert. Muddy roads had dried up enough by September 4 to allow some people to begin their exodus from the festival. Thunderstorms struck the annual event in the Nevada desert on September 1, confining attendees to wet conditions as organizers closed the gates and the site's temporary airport. According to festival organizers, 64,000 people remained at the festival site as of the afternoon of September 4.
