Street food is such an integral part of everyday life in Singapore that UNESCO has recognized it for its cultural significance. Singapore's street food is now on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list, the first of its kind in the country. There are many multi-generational street food stalls with a long history, and they are dedicated to preserving their legacy.
