China defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0 to win the men's team title at the Asian Table Tennis Championships in Pyeongchang, South Korea, on Wednesday and secured a qualification for the event in the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.

Wang Chuqin was the first player for China and he edged Kao Cheng-Jui 3-2 (9-11, 11-9, 7-11, 11-6 and 11-8) to win the first match for his side.

Fan Zhendong was the second to play for China and his opponent was Lin Yun-Ju. It also took Fan five games to defeat Lin (8-11, 11-8, 12-10, 5-11 and 12-10).

China's third player Liang Jingkun had a relatively quick win over Chuang Chih-Yuan 3-0 (11-8, 11-4 and 12-10), sealing the final victory for his side.

Wednesday's title marked the 23rd of such honor which China won in the tournament. They previously had two 11-title-streaks.
