Chinese Premier Li Qiang is attending the 26th ASEAN-China Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia. He delivered a speech at the event, calling for deeper cooperation between China and the bloc and joint efforts to tackle various global and regional challenges.
On Tuesday, Premier Li hailed China-Indonesia cooperation at a reception hosted by the business community of the two countries. He stressed the two countries are committed to maintaining openness, inclusiveness, harmony and stability in the region. Li is also scheduled to attend the Asean Plus Three Summit and the East Asia Summit. A series of economic deals are expected to be signed between China and ASEAN during Li's trip.
