Firefighters in Fujian Province have been actively engaged in rescue efforts as Typhoon Haikui lashed the coastal province in eastern China since September 5.
In the early morning of September 6, local firefighters received multiple calls to help evacuate people in emergency situations, with 11 stranded people being evacuated from a residential building. As of 9:00 a.m. on September 6, more than 120 stranded villagers had been evacuated and transferred to safe areas.
