The local fish farming households in Longji Town, Suqian, east China’s Jiangsu Province were taking advantage of the sunny weather to sun-dry various species of fish.
Longji Town is located between Hongze Lake and Chengzi Lake. In recent years, the town has been making full use of its water resources to develop the local aquaculture industries, while actively encouraging local fishermen to sun-dry fish onshore. This has led to a growth in the processing of specialty aquatic products, which has contributed greatly to the prosperity of the town and to the well-being of its residents.
