China Media Group's (CMG) inaugural Youth Peking Opera Actors Conference, along with the launch ceremony of major opera programs, was held on Friday in Beijing.
The ceremony, which unveiled several high-quality programs, was attended by CMG President Shen Haixiong, Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism Lu Yingchuan, and CMG's Vice President Wang Xiaozhen, among others.
Peking Opera is a precious gem of the Chinese culture, showcasing the national spirit, Wang said, adding that in recent years, CMG has deeply cultivated opera programs, vigorously promoted and inherited excellent traditional Chinese culture, and provided the audience with a rich variety of high-quality programs.

The programs introduced on Friday are a reflection of CMG's full-chain, all-encompassing, and comprehensive innovation, he said.
