China is a multilateral player and plays a very active and positive role in all Group of 20 (G20) negotiations, India's G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said in a recent interview with India's News9 broadcast.
Kant talked about the challenges of multilateral discussions and hosting the 18th G20 Summit, which takes place on September 9 and 10 in New Delhi, and added that China plays a "very constructive and positive" role in the G20.
He also shared India's unique approach to its G20 presidency.
The summit, themed "One Earth · One Family · One Future," will focus on inclusive growth, digital innovation, climate resilience and equitable global health access, among other topics.
