The Main Media Center (MMC) serving the upcoming 19th Asian Games launched its trial operation on Saturday. The MPC, which covers nearly 50,000 square meters, will be home to over 10,000 reporters from various Asian countries and regions. It will provide a number of services, including traffic management support and multi-lingual interpretation for journalists.
The village for the 19th Asian Games is making last-minute preparations before its full opening next week. The Asian Games Village spans an area of 1.13 million square meters, equivalent to more than 150 standard football fields. From Saturday, the advance delegations from participating countries and regions can stay at the village, as some functional areas such as catering, accommodation and medical care have already opened.
