The China International Intelligent Communication Forum 2023, co-hosted by China Media Group (CMG) and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, took place in Wuxi City, east China's Jiangsu Province from Thursday to Saturday.

Participants at the forum are invited to exchange and discuss cutting-edge issues in the era of intelligent communication, thus making positive contributions to deepening exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations and promoting global media integration and innovation, said Hu Jinjun, vice president of CMG, while delivering his speech at the forum.

Hu added that CMG will join hands with other media colleagues and friends from all walks of life to use intelligent communication to innovate media communication in telling the story of Chinese modernization, and use the intelligent communication to innovate cultural exchanges and jointly open a new chapter of mutual learning among civilizations, and use the intelligent communication to innovate media cooperation to jointly contribute media strength to promoting modernization.

Zhang Aijun, head of the Publicity Department of the Jiangsu provincial committee of the Communist Party of China, said Jiangsu Province, which boasts advanced internet development, has all along regarded artificial intelligence as the core energy to promote the deep integration and development of media. 

Taking this forum as an opportunity, Zhang said Jiangsu will further promote the in-depth integration and development of media and continue to improve the efficiency of intelligent communication.

Other participants including Italian ex-prime minister Matteo Renzi agreed that the artificial intelligence has been applied to all aspects of international communication and hoped media organizations worldwide to work together to create a better future of intelligent communication.

The forum, whose first edition was held in 2021, is a high-end platform for international exchanges and cooperation in intelligent communication.
