According to Mao, Li called for strengthening communication between the two countries during their exchange.

Mao said Li told Biden that China's development is an opportunity for the United States rather than a challenge.

Biden responded that the U.S. hopes to see the Chinese economy continue to grow and his country will not hinder the Chinese economy from growing, the official said.

During Li's attendance at the G20 Summit, he also had brief exchanges with leaders of other countries, Mao said.
