Palace Museum holds special exhibition on tea culture

"The World of Tea: Special Exhibition on Tea Culture" takes place at the Wu Men (the Meridian Gate) Exhibition Hall of the Palace Museum from September 2 to November 30 in Beijing. The exhibition features 555 exhibits, including 227 from representative collections of 30 cultural institutions and museums both domestically and internationally. It also provides insights into tea's origins and evolution as a cultural phenomenon while emphasizing how it has acted as a unifying thread connecting diverse regions and fostering the integration of various ethnic groups.

CGTN has launched the "Cup of Tea" challenge to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative. Join our challenge using the hashtag #cupoftea, show us your tea-related collections and share your tea stories.
