Afghanistan has critical economic challenges after U.S. occupation

The U.S. marks the 22nd anniversary of the 9-11 terror attacks, which served as the justification for the U.S. to launch its so-called Global War on Terrorism, leading to its invasion of Iraq and its 20-year-long occupation of Afghanistan until 2021.
