Search and rescue efforts were hampered in quake-hit Morocco due to difficulty accessing the epicenter of the earthquake which is deep in the mountains. Authorities distributed humanitarian aid while locals tried to clear the roads with their bare hands. Rescue teams are still searching under the rubble in Talat N'Yaaqoub and Tinmel.
