Nicolás Maduro Moros, president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, is paying a state visit to China from September 8 to 14. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Venezuela,ties have developed steadily. Venezuela has become an important trading partner and investment target country for China in Latin America.
CGTN Stringer asked several local people on the streets of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, what they thought about Maduro's visit to China and their views on China. One local resident, Iran Dias, said he believes Maduro's visit to China will deepen understanding between China and Venezuela and bring more business opportunities.
