A massive fire broke out at the Mohammadpur Krishi Market in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, on September 14, destroying many shops. The authorities deployed 17 fire service units to extinguish the fire, ultimately bringing it under control. However, smoke still billowed from the site. More than 500 shops were destroyed in the blaze.
