The 2023 Beijing Culture Forum "Integration of Culture and Tourism: Shaping Tourism with Culture and Promoting Culture with Tourism" was held in Beijing on September 15, 2023.

The 2023 Beijing Cultural Forum is co-sponsored by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality. It is an international platform for China to exchange cultural construction experience, to promote mutual learning among civilizations, and to explore cultural cooperation and development.

More than 600 Chinese and foreign guests attended the event, including heads of central and local publicity and cultural units, well-known experts, scholars, writers, artists and industry leaders, as well as international dignitaries and heads of international institutions in the cultural field.

During the parallel forum of "Integration of Culture and Tourism" on September 15, domestic and foreign experts and scholars in cultural tourism, representatives of leading companies, and government officials gathered around the theme of "promoting the deep integration of culture and tourism". Following the high-quality development of cultural tourism in the new era, they focused on the revitalization and transformation of the cultural tourism industry, exploring the improvement of cultural connotations.

Dai Bin, president of China Tourism Academy, said that to promote the deep integration and high-quality development of culture and tourism, we need to creatively transform and innovatively develop traditional culture, creating new tourism consumption scenarios to meet tourists' new consumption needs. At the same time, Beijing is playing an important role in the integration of culture and tourism. Tourists can not only get spiritual improvement and satisfaction, but also see a bright future of economic and social development.
