Regarding the policy of "de-risking" led by the U.S. and the EU against China, Yukon Huang, senior fellow at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, points out that the global economy has benefited from China's high growth rate over the past decade and a half, and so has the West. A policy of de-risking will lower growth rates in the West by as much as 1 percent a year in return. And no one comes out of this better.
