Libya faces medical supply shortage in flood-hit areas: relief workers
01:10

At the Young Volunteers Relief Center in Benghazi, 300 kilometers from the flood-hit Libyan city of Derna, volunteers are working around the clock. Large amounts of relief supplies, including food, bedding and drinking water, are sent through the young volunteers to the affected areas. The local people donated a lot of supplies after the disaster. So, the daily supplies are adequate. But medicine is in short supply.

The roads and other infrastructure damaged by the floods have not yet been fully repaired, and some infrastructure needs to be rebuilt to ensure that supplies can be better delivered to the affected areas.
