Ahead of the first Golden Panda Awards, CGTN Digital had an exclusive interview with Stanley Tong, a renowned director and president of the jury for the film category of the Golden Panda Awards. Recalling some of the arthouse films he had invested in, he said the young directors needed to be supported like "young pandas." He also told CGTN that he is working with famous actress and Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh and renowned Chinese actor Jackie Chan, another Oscar awardee, on some fresh kung fu film ideas.
