The Tang Yun Artistic Group was established in Sao Paulo in 1999 with the goal of fostering Chinese dance culture in Brazil. Over the years, they have trained numerous generations of dancers from the Chinese community in Sao Paulo and entertained thousands of Brazilians. After years of promoting Chinese culture, making TV appearances, and participating in Sao Paulo's Carnival, the group took a significant step this year by founding the Tang Yun Brazil-China Cultural School. CGTN had the opportunity to speak with the driving force behind this initiative, Rebeca Lin, a Chinese immigrant who aims to popularize Chinese culture and facilitate cultural exchanges between China and Brazil.
