The 23rd Pingyao International Photography Festival opened on September 19 in Pingyao Ancient City in north China's Shanxi Province. More than 2,000 photographers from 28 countries and regions around the world are taking part in the event, with over 13,000 works on display. Among them, 225 foreign photographers are exhibiting more than 1,600 photographs.
